DefendTex is an established leader in multi domain asymmetric warfare solutions with offices in Australia, United States and United Kingdom. Innovation drives the development of cost effective capabilities to deliver combat mass designed to significantly increase the strike range, survivability and lethality of existing systems. DefendTex leverages a strong commitment to R&D combined with state of the art facilities to deliver world leading capabilities to the war fighter. New capabilities are derived from developing truly collaborative partnerships with the end user community.
DRONE40:
Drone40 is a barrel launched, low cost, swarm capable nano UAS equipped with a GPS enabled flight control system. Its modular design supports multiple radio systems including LTE. The interchangeable payload bay supports a range of ISR, EW, nonlethal and lethal effectors.
DRONE155:
Drone155 is a larger variant of Drone81 with in excess of two hours flight time and supports modular payloads that can be rapidly fitted in the field, ie cargo lift, drop capability, laser designator, RPG40, 60mm drop munitions.
Vengeance FPV:
Delivered fully assembled with props, the Vengeance FPV is designed for combat and is available in 7”, 8”, 10” and 13”. The FPV has fewer parts making it lower cost and faster to mass manufacture. Key features include; built in payload mounts, wide and flat battery platform, externally mounted video transmitter, modular design, EW hardened, supports autonomous terminal guidance.
RPG40-G:
The Rocket Propelled Grenade 40mm Guided is a lightweight Trajectory Corrected Munitions system used for quick engagement of laser designated targets at up to 2500m range.
Night Wraith:
Night Wraith leverages the proven effectiveness of 70mm rockets, while addressing their limitations by integrating guidance and fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) flight technologies into the 70mm rocket platform. Night Wraith is a lowcost loitering munition, compatible with all existing standard 70mm Hydra rocket launchers and warheads, while enabling beyond line-of-sight engagements, a flight time of over 30 minutes, and a precision strike capability at over 80km range, day or night.
Laser Designator:
DefendTex’s low SWaP laser designator is STANAG3733 compliant and delivers 1.9km range, while being smaller, lighter and orders of magnitude cheaper than comparable commercial systems. Its versatile, miniaturized form factor (diameter 40 mm, length 260mm, weight 380g) allows it to be mounted to an under-barrel grenade launcher (UBGL), a turret, unmanned vehicle or used by hand.
122mm ROCKET:
The 122mmrocket is intended for defeating enemy manpower and firepower including mortars, field artillery, motorised units and strong points. A western derivative of the long range GRAD rocket, the 122mm is compatible with the mobile multi-launch rocket systems BM-21 and RM-70, or similar.
DefendTex’s core capabilities include:
Additive manufacturing
Aerospace
Armour systems
Chemical manufacturing
Electronics Manufacturing
