COMPANY OVERVIEW

Visionary Machines is a sovereign Australian sensing and situational awareness company designing advanced capabilities for defence, government, critical infrastructure, and public safety.

Visionary Machines platforms integrate sensing, data processing, and software to enable operators and autonomous systems to:

  • See – Real-time high accuracy detection and perception of objects and activity

  • Trust – Understand quickly with rapid interpretation of data to support decisionmaking

  • Act – With confidence, enabling timely, informed operational responses

By combining deep technical innovation with mission-focused design, Visionary Machines delivers sensing solutions purpose-built for autonomous systems and trusted situational awareness in complex, contested environments.

Technology applications include:

  • Passive 3D optical drone detection, tracking, classification and targeting, across air, land and sea, designed for defence and critical infrastructure counter drone

  • Vehicular based mapping and navigation in GPS denied environments, designed for defence Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and theatre logistics

PRODUCTS

Pandion Sentinel (Counter Drone)

A passive 3D optical sensing system designed to support detection and tracking of small unmanned aerial systems with all processing executed real-time at the edge.

  • Multi-domain detection, tracking, classification and targeting of drones across air, land and sea (surface) at relevant effector ranges for small Group 1 drones and in all lighting conditions

  • Semi-fixed site, vehicle mounted or permanent facility configuration

  • Integrates with third-party Command and Control, effector and sensor systems via common interface

  • Passive undetectable operation with no energy emissions

  • Detects Radio Frequency-operated drones, AI/ autonomous controlled drones, and optic fibre ‘dark drones’

  • Providing target-quality telemetry data of objects being tracked

  • AI enhanced threat classification enabling rapid and trusted classification

  • Enabling detector for counter-drone effector technologies, including RWS and directed energy systems

Pandion Perception (Sensing for Autonomy & Navigation):

Navigate dynamic or unique off-road environments.

  • Generates highly detailed and accurate real-time environment digital twin in 3D

  • Low computational demand allowing all processing to be done at the edge

  • Applications designed for automation of military and civil vehicle platforms

  • Operate 24/7 in challenging weather and lighting conditions

  • Passive operation does not emit signals

  • Supports third-party autonomy stack integration

  • Complements other navigation solutions such as Internal Navigation Units
